Israel is in the Middle East.

Depends on your nationality. I.e. if Ur a Brit U can apply for a passport for Israel. When you've finished working in Israel U collect a new passport / turn the other one in and resume working elsewhere. + Never enter it in your CV. So have a good tight cover for the period. Otherwise agents etc might automatically assume U did time in the Big-house Under no circumstances flash a passport with Israel stamps etc in it if and when applying to work back in the Gulf / Middle East etc. Moreover, it'll also restrict Ur traveling when outside Israel for leave etc. If U intend to fly off some place when on leave - be sure to check it out first - otherwise it could be dicey! Get Ur replacement passport first I believe many other countries do the same for their nationals! In all honesty, it could mean / be your death - and I'm not kidding, by any means! So play safe - don't even chance it!

most likely NO - the middle east muslims HATE the jews and also most ME countries will not allow you to enter if you have an israeli stamp in your passport.

Yes, but you'll need a new passport. No Arab nation will admit you with an Israeli stamp in your passport. Make no mention of the job or living in Israel on your application and resume.
