Hmm... No, I don't think so. It's fine if you did not go to school in Israel, but it is necessary to speak Hebrew. It's kind of like, in Israel, there are lots of people who speak English, just like in the US there are lots of people who speak Spanish, but if you wanted to work in the US, you would have to learn English, right? Anyway, Israel has several intensive Hebrew language programs for new immigrants so they can settle into Israeli society. And contrary to popular belief, Hebrew is not a very difficult language to learn.

Once you migrate to Israel, you will have to first learn Hebrew, which all new immigrants do. There are programs designed just for you. Once you have learned Hebrew, you would have to get a licence in order to become a doctor. Exams will be necessary of course. Sincerely, Ms. Miche ; })

The below link gives more details. A medical professional who meets the requirements may certainly practice here, but s/he must be issued a Department of Medical Professions/ Ministry of Health license. Obviously, this applies to someone who graduated from a recognized 6 year medical program as well as 1 year of rotating internship ("stag"); the internship requirement may also be fulfilled in Israel. (For a practicing intern from abroad in a "straight" internship, the rotating internship requirement in Israel may be waived.) One applies for a license at the local district Health Office. http://www.hagshama.org.il/en/resources/view.asp?id=389

Annex israel, Right now it's just a welfare state that dictates foreign policy

Annex israel, Right now it's just a welfare state that dictates foreign policy?
We send money to the taxpaying innercity and it's called a waste. We send money to the source of ALL western wealth(africa) and it's considered a waste. We send a disproportionate amount to israel, which is home to only a few people and is part of an endless cycle of terror and that's justification to send more- We should offer them state hood after we force a joint israeli-palestinian government and everyone that opposes that, is an obstacle to peace. Aid to israel is the biggest waste of resources on planet earth. It has caused 100 holocaust and prevented any incentive for israel to be fair with its neighbors nevermind breeding unyielding resentment. It doesn't even work for israel to be a jumping off point for america to undermine africa and the middle-east because they attack israel in retaliation. How much hardship does israel suffer due to this unholy relationship- The aid isn't working, the occupation isn't working. If it were Nigeria or Detroit the $ would have dried up I can't tell by the pre-scripted answers that most people trained in this group-think only check for one perspective and that's the problem. If only ALL THE DOZENS OF AFRICAN NATIONS would act good. And surely israel would do the right thing if all the lowly arabs would recognize its superiority and right to occupy it. Oh and who is playing the race card now---lol. Yep it's a PROVEN FACT every leader ever in africa is corrupt(unlike israel or the united states-) It is most people in these countries who think of it as a dependent. No one seems to be unaware that africa is not a single country, that the inner city are in different states and that israeli politics are not monolithic. Everyone in israel does not agree with the relationship with the u.s. or about palestine. I hate that white's and jews consider there side of the story to be the full story. Before making the statement I was aware of YOUR NARROW PERSPECTIVE plus the perspective of others, which I am attempted to show

Typical American thinking. You think everything belongs to you.

Israel is our ally! thats what all the congress men say many members of congress give to israel. if they did it i'm pretty sure there are good reasons why they did it..more than 100 congress men give to israel..can they be wrong?

Yeah I agree with the previous post though I am sure we do not agree. The poster wants to play American aid to Israel off against aid we should be sending toe Africa so it appears that the poster is a racist or thinks only in terms of race. The US sends incredible amounts of aid to Africa and most of it ends up in the pockets of corrupt govenments and that is a proven fact. Africa nor the Middle East belongs to the US and every attempt to make peace fails because of problems in the area. I think if Arab states would have recognized it as a state years ago, they would have had so many commercial relationships by now that Israel would be dependent on her neighbors instead of the rest of the world. Israel is far from a welfare state and has a pretty healthy GNP though it has to devote so much to defense. Israel has a lot of technology and expertise to share with neighbors but not while at war and under the threat of destruction. Palestinians were, at one time, one of the most intelligent, educated groups in the world but finally attaining some form of autonomy failed because terrorists within the PLO wanted to remain terrorists and not statesmen. Your posting seem to mimic some of the anti Israel statements that come from the Middle East and perhaps you are Middle Eastern. Israel would have disappeared as a threat if they had been recognized as a state years ago. Hatred rules in the MIddle East and people think that God wants them to kill people so its hopeless. Palestinians with any sense have abandoned this years ago and fled to other nations where they can raise families and send them to school without someone killing them.

This is a misguided question based on a distorted sense of what the REAL issues are in Israel.
5 :
You clearly have no understanding of Israel whatsoever. Israel is a tiny country, smaller than Wales, and she is surrounded by huge, wealthy, hostile Arab neighbours. Israel battles the SAME terrorists as the rest of the free world - the same groups that destroyed the twin towers in New York and who put bombs on London tube trains and buses. America sends money to many countries, and yes, one of them is Israel. In return, America has a genuine ally and remember, Israel is the only democracy in the entire Middle East. Israel also gives America a lot of intelligence info, which is vital as Israel is, alas out of necessity, the most experienced nation in terms of dealing with Islamic terrorism. America also gives a lot of money to Germany - apparently this doesn't bother you, though...?

Hmmm... Talk about group think. The only thing that distinguishes your tripe from others that have said the exact same thing is that you are slightly more rambling. Oh well. To address some of your "points". - It is not true that the "source of ALL western wealth" is Africa. To be quite frank, I'm not even sure what you mean since you fail to clarify what you mean by "wealth". - Although Israel receives a substantial amount of money from the US, it hardly makes up even a small fraction of Israel's total "wealth". Thus, it is hardly a "welfare state". - And Egypt is the second largest beneficiary of US foreign aid. I have yet to see people like you even to bother address that issue. Because, whatever problem you have with aid to Israel you can apply to Egypt. Yet you don't bother to address it. It seems to me that you don't really care about foreign aid and where it goes, you just use it as a poor excuse to bash Israel. - Also, your advocating of "forcing" a joint state is highly disturbing and it is laughable that such a thing can even work.

it is painfully obvious that not many people care to hear your rambling babble. So with that I say, "go back to your ghetto".

Is the White house working to undermine Israel

Is the White house working to undermine Israel?
By working with the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt? In Obama's book, he says in the end he will stand with Muslims!

I don't think he is actively trying to undermine Israel, but he definitely isn't helping much.
2 :
no, but you will believe whatever your chosen news network tells you..............good little two party system slave - pat yourself on the back

everyday under Obama's administration

Is giving military funding to both nations a great idea? We have been for some time. How about we concentrate on problems in the US and let the world sink or swim on their own. Installing another puppet government does not help our image, quite the opposite.
5 :
They are big boys they should be able to handle it.
6 :
No and being silly like you won't undermine rational thought either.
7 :
I wish. That would be two victories for human rights - one in Egypt if they manage to overthrow their dictator and one for the Palestinians.

Because..0 is in bed with his Muzzie brothers.

YES .

He has state dinners with every tyrant and despot that comes to visit including the ChiComs but doesn't even offer a peanut butter sandwich to the Israeli prime minister when he decides to leave him and go to lunch. The answer to your question is obvious in the dissing of Israel alone, even before his rediculous backing of Muslims. Keep in mind he has also dissed England too.

I wish they were under mining Israel as they are murdering racist scum.

Obama has unquestionably been slowly drawing back and away from Israel for the last 2 years. They know and even knew it BEFORE he was elected. Unlike the U.S. Israel has a very thick file on Obama and they have no illusions where he's coming from. What's equally unnerving is the latest leftist news media PLAYING up Obama's big "Christian" comments, when the fact is, 20 years in a Black Theology "church" was anything BUT christian. It's like he's intentionally trying to draw away any attention to his Islamic sympathies, while Egypt slowly becomes dominated by the Muslim Brotherhood. Answer: The odds increase every day, with ALL the unrest now suddenly occurring in the Middle East countries, there is a very serious and escalating war in our future. Israel will NOT sit back and let themselves be surrounded by Islamic radicals. Perhaps there's a modicum of potential reality to the 2012 predictions of global upheaval.

In the final analysis, Israel probably has more information on Obama than the average American voter. They knew exactly how things would proceed.

I seriously doubt it.

Its an American passport: you should be fine over there, but make sure you have the consulate's number on you, just in case. You should be careful of your Israeli identity, as they aren't so fond of Jews (or Americans for that matter) Good Luck
