How much tax gets taken out of paycheck in Israel?
I will be working in Israel as a teacher. My salary will be 70,795 shekels. I would like to know how much money gets taken out in taxes. I am single, if that makes a difference.

I assume 70,795 shekels is your yearly salary, your monthly would be 5899,58 shekels. At any rate use this site to figure net salary http://realaliyah.tripod.com/taxes.htm You will be paying Income Tax (Mas Hachnasah) Social Security Tax (Bituach Leumi) Health Tax (Dmay Briyut)

Hi, you will pay the following taxes: (per month, assuming the salary you stated was a yearly one) social security: 95 NIS health insurance: 203 NIS IRS: 70 NIS also please remember that israel has a 16% VAT, and customs are pretty high.

6000 sk

Could 9-11 have been the work of Israel, like they did with the Lavon affair
Could 9-11 have been the work of Israel, like they did with the Lavon affair?
The lavon affair is like decades before i even hatched onto this violent planet. The plan was for the Israelis to create a false flag operations by attacking targets inside Egypt and theirby blaming the Arabs and removing any Western Support to them. In 1967 they alleged to have sunk a US warship and attemped to blame it on the Arabs again. So could 9-11 have been another handi-work of the infamous Israeli mossad? I mean they are really really good? I mean all credit to them they tracked down Nazis all the way in Latin America and bought them home for Justice! So could 9-11 have been done by them? ALso what exactly do we have to implicate UBL apart from a video tape which could have been doctored very easily? Suprise suprise the hue of being called "Anti-semetism" just because i alluded to fact in history. Does this embrass the blind, fervent Pro Israel supporters that their country (Israel) is not always made out of milk and butter like they have been told?

No matter what happens, there will always be someone, somewhere trying to blame it on the Jews.

No. Bin Laden has admitted several times that he took down the towers. Also, the people that were on the planes were traced to him. Stop with your inane conspiracy theories.
3 :
Let's suppose that's the case. How do you explain Israel's ability to recruit 20 crazed muslims that despise Jews?
4 :
ONLY THE FAR LEFT LOONS WOULD BUY THAT ARGUMENT

just think Iraq is the garden of eden and who got more to gain?
6 :
NO.. WILL THE TINFOIL HAT WEARING FOLKS PLEASE EXIT THE ROOM IN AN ORDERLY FASHION?

Honestly. even i have wondered many times if the Israelis had something to do with 9/11. I don't mean to disrespect the victims of 9/11 or the Jews but it is possible. The Israelis have gone all over the world and have assasinated people. Their Intelligence agency is probably more advanced then our CIA. So it is possible.

Is it possible for an American to work in Israel?
Hi, I have a b.s in marketing from univ. of hawaii and a mba from Texas a&m in the usa. I want to live in israel because I have fallen in love with everything about the country. Is it possible for me to get a job here? Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start looking? I love the beach and resort areas as well. Thanks for your help. Jeremy

We will be very happy if you come to live in Israel, but you must understand that we have been managing without you so far. You would therefore have to be prepared, at least at first, to take any work that's going.
2 :
Do you speak Hebrew? That would help a great deal. You will probably be able to get a job in Tel Aviv. You might find work in a hotel in Eilat. Israel is credentialism crazy, so you have a shot with your degrees. Have you visited Israel before? I recommend it. Many Americans who make aliyah who have never been to Israel end up on the first plane back after they see how Israelis behave. It's a rough place even in peaceful times. Get your mind right and expect the unexpected. Also, don't get trapped by an Israeli girl who would like a green card. If you go on a tourist visa, no one will hire you in your field.

Yes, its possible for Americans to work in Israel. There are many American people working there. You will need to get a work permit. There are many jobs in your area, but remember the competition will be great as there are many Israelis with an MBA.Plus the language might be a problem, even though most Israelis speak/understand basic English. you should contact contact the Israeli consulater in your area and get better advise from them. Before you start working in Israel, there are important things you need to know: what trades can you work in? How to obtain and extend a working visa?
