I have slammed Israel for this multiple times. Almost every other country is doing the same, except for America. We need to cut all foreign aid to all nations, Israel included. It is time to stop worrying about foreign affairs; we have too many problems here at home to worry about.

The "activists" were armed, their mission was a provocation -- both Israel and Egypt offered to transfer the supplies to Gaza, but the "flotilla" organizers refused, and they attacked the soldiers. <<refusing an order to stop or actively resisting visit, search or capture may render merchant vessels military objectives>> (San-Remo agreements) If anything, Israel's restraint is amazing again... Any other military, upon encountering such resistance, would've retreated and blasted the boat from the water with missiles/torpedoes, instead of risking the soldiers' lives trying to minimize the ENEMY'S casualties... The on-board fighting lasted "several hours", according to some news reports -- what kind of "peaceful activists" can fight elite military commandos for hours?
