Yes, but you need to make sure you get the adapter for the plug. The plugs in Israel and the US are different. Check the voltage. There are converters for the voltage and plug adapters.

I intend to go live and work in Israel. Kind of Alya, but I am not jew... :-)?
Are christian people well integrated in Israel? Is it hard to find a job in IT/Computering/Finance (Master Degree). Is living cheap or expensive compared to France/US ? I've started learning Hebrew 4 years ago, so language shall not be a problem, but I'm wondering about employment, housing (in Tel-Aviv), social life and relationships... Any answers and more will be appreciated... תודה לעזרה

check with Isreal embassy in your country. you may like to work in tourism, since you know French and English. Living standards differs from France and USA. But I would say give it a try.

in israel if you except christ your family has a funeral for you. i have some friends who are christians in Israel who moved there from america some time back so their kids are israeli, but they are not. they live in constant danger of someone burning their house or attacking their church. also they could get jailed for bringing anyone's kid to christ. i know this sounds like i'm trying to discourage you from doing it, but i'm just telling you what i know.

The term, Aliyah, only refers to JEWS moving to Israel to live. However, non-Jews can still move to Israel and become naturalized citizens, just like someone moving to the U.S. and becoming a naturalized U.S.citizen. check out http://aliyah.org

Israel is a religiously tolerant society. It does NOT persecute anyone based on religion. IF you are proselytizing Christian you will probably get a very cold reception. Jewish people, me included, generally just want to be left alone to worship our own way. You worship your way we worship ours. Expense of living: Varies as to where you live and what you want. Living in Tel Aviv is very expensive, on par with new york/San Diego. Taxes in Israel are VERY high. Jobs. Israel has a fast growing and very strong IT sector and is always looking for talented people. Being multilingual will of course also help

Work in israel without permit/visa?
Hi i'm a british guy visiting israel. i would like to get a paid job, but don't want to get a work visa, as i'm only here for a month. I guess i need to try and get an ilegal job... any suggestions?
