I assume 70,795 shekels is your yearly salary, your monthly would be 5899,58 shekels. At any rate use this site to figure net salary http://realaliyah.tripod.com/taxes.htm You will be paying Income Tax (Mas Hachnasah) Social Security Tax (Bituach Leumi) Health Tax (Dmay Briyut)

Hi, you will pay the following taxes: (per month, assuming the salary you stated was a yearly one) social security: 95 NIS health insurance: 203 NIS IRS: 70 NIS also please remember that israel has a 16% VAT, and customs are pretty high.

Could 9-11 have been the work of Israel, like they did with the Lavon affair

Could 9-11 have been the work of Israel, like they did with the Lavon affair?
The lavon affair is like decades before i even hatched onto this violent planet. The plan was for the Israelis to create a false flag operations by attacking targets inside Egypt and theirby blaming the Arabs and removing any Western Support to them. In 1967 they alleged to have sunk a US warship and attemped to blame it on the Arabs again. So could 9-11 have been another handi-work of the infamous Israeli mossad? I mean they are really really good? I mean all credit to them they tracked down Nazis all the way in Latin America and bought them home for Justice! So could 9-11 have been done by them? ALso what exactly do we have to implicate UBL apart from a video tape which could have been doctored very easily? Suprise suprise the hue of being called "Anti-semetism" just because i alluded to fact in history. Does this embrass the blind, fervent Pro Israel supporters that their country (Israel) is not always made out of milk and butter like they have been told?

No matter what happens, there will always be someone, somewhere trying to blame it on the Jews.
2 :
No. Bin Laden has admitted several times that he took down the towers. Also, the people that were on the planes were traced to him. Stop with your inane conspiracy theories.
3 :
Let's suppose that's the case. How do you explain Israel's ability to recruit 20 crazed muslims that despise Jews?

ONLY THE FAR LEFT LOONS WOULD BUY THAT ARGUMENT

NO.. WILL THE TINFOIL HAT WEARING FOLKS PLEASE EXIT THE ROOM IN AN ORDERLY FASHION?

Honestly. even i have wondered many times if the Israelis had something to do with 9/11. I don't mean to disrespect the victims of 9/11 or the Jews but it is possible. The Israelis have gone all over the world and have assasinated people. Their Intelligence agency is probably more advanced then our CIA. So it is possible.

We will be very happy if you come to live in Israel, but you must understand that we have been managing without you so far. You would therefore have to be prepared, at least at first, to take any work that's going.
2 :
Do you speak Hebrew? That would help a great deal. You will probably be able to get a job in Tel Aviv. You might find work in a hotel in Eilat. Israel is credentialism crazy, so you have a shot with your degrees. Have you visited Israel before? I recommend it. Many Americans who make aliyah who have never been to Israel end up on the first plane back after they see how Israelis behave. It's a rough place even in peaceful times. Get your mind right and expect the unexpected. Also, don't get trapped by an Israeli girl who would like a green card. If you go on a tourist visa, no one will hire you in your field.

Yes, its possible for Americans to work in Israel. There are many American people working there. You will need to get a work permit. There are many jobs in your area, but remember the competition will be great as there are many Israelis with an MBA.Plus the language might be a problem, even though most Israelis speak/understand basic English. you should contact contact the Israeli consulater in your area and get better advise from them. Before you start working in Israel, there are important things you need to know: what trades can you work in? How to obtain and extend a working visa? The following site will answer all your concerns Before you start working in Israel, there are important things you need to know: what trades can you work in? How to obtain and extend a working visa? This section offers all the answers.http://www.gov.il/FirstGov/TopNavEng/EngSituations/ESMigrantWorkersGuide/ESMWGComing/ If you like the sea, I would suggest living in Tel Aviv, also its the business capital of Israel.

How do nurses in Israel justify working on Friday evenings

How do nurses in Israel justify working on Friday evenings?
I often have to work Friday nights, but technically, that 's a no-no for observant jews. I'm sure the hospital wards aren't unmanned in Israel though, come Friday night. What justification is used to make it OK to work then?

The laws of the Sabbath may be suspended to provide any necessary medical care to a critically ill individual or to an individual in the likelihood of danger to life. http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Judaism/pikuach_nefesh.html From the same source. In Judaism, human life is essential and so pikuach nefesh, the obligation to save a life in jeopardy, is considered a major value to uphold. This obligation applies to both an immediate threat and a less grave danger that has the potential of becoming serious. Pikuach nefesh is derived from the biblical verse, “Neither shall you stand by the blood of your neighbor” (Lev. 19:16). According to pikuach nefesh a person must do everything in their power to save the life of another, even donate bodily organs. Ovaday Yosef, the former Sephardic Chief Rabbi of Israel, ruled that one may donate an organ to a person in critical need, so long as it does not put the donor’s life at risk.

to save lives you're allowed.

Shay P is correct. Judaism places great value on Human life - to the extent that there is a saying in the Talmud that "one who saves another's life is as if s/he has saved the whole world." Specifically regarding saving lives on Shabbat, the logic is simple - as stated in the Talmud, "It is worth violating one Shabbat in order to keep many Sabbaths" = It is worth it for the nurse to violate his/her shabbat in order to give the person s/he saves the opportunity to fulfill many shabbats for the rest of their life. Tequila is also correct. "It's not a matter of "justifying" anything. Behind the mitzva (commandment) system is the understanding "veChai bahem"/ "And you shall LIVE by them" (the commandments). In other words, G-d commanded Jews to LIVE in accordance with His laws."

Hi. It's not a matter of "justifying" anything. Behind the mitzva (commandment) system is the understanding "veChai bahem"/ "And live by them" (the commandments). In other words, G-d commanded Jews to live in accordance with His laws. The Torah is a very functional framework for living a decent life. (The goal is not to wind up tied up in knots or, G-d forbid, dead.) Among the hospitals in Israel, there are a few that are run according to Jewish law, such as Shaarei Tzedek Hospital http://www.szmc.org.il/Eng/Index.asp?CategoryID=198&ArticleID=885&SearchParam=sabbathobservance http://www.szmc.org.il/Eng/Index.asp?CategoryID=198&ArticleID=969 in Jerusalem and Laniado in Netanya. http://www.laniado.org.il/Eng/Index.asp I am acquainted with a number of nurses and doctors in Jerusalem that scrupulously keep the Sabbath. They prefer to work at institutions that facilitate keeping the Torah laws while on duty. Over the years, many technological advances have contributed to the ease with which professional medical personnel can safeguard their patients' health and Torah commandments simultaneously. http://www.hashkafah.com/grama-Switch-Halachic-Novelties-t23425.html Among the technologies instituted in religious Israeli hospitals: a nurse call system for Shabbat, special telephones for essential Shabbat use by medical personnel, automatic hot water urns for institutional use, and elevator controls for Shabbat use in multistory buildings. http://www.scienceandhalacha.org/areas.shtml Some also use approved disappearing ink pens so that info. that must be written on Shabbat in a patient's chart becomes temporary and can be rewritten Saturday night after sundown.
5 :
They asked Jesus the same question. The answer is still true. It is not unholy to do good on the Sabbath.
6 :
Preservation of life/helping the sick trumps all other laws. Period!
7 :
Saving a human life takes precedence over any other commandment. There is nothing they need justify. All the best.
8 :
They are involved in life-saving work, like doctors. .
9 :
Jewish Orthodox Nurses and doctors work Friday nights and Saturdays with full rabbinical endorsement, since saving human life precedes Sabbath observance; it is in the Torah.
