1) check with the nearest Israeli Consulate 2) ditto, though I think you can volunteer on a Kibbutz freely. 3) no. of course not. Israel is the only democracy in the area and there are people of all faiths there, most of them are citizens.

One of your four grandparents has to be a Jew and you have to be able to prove it. People who are not Jewish can apply to emigrate to Israel, but it is not automatic, they do not have the right of return. You can also work in Israel if you are not a citizen. Lots of people from Thailand emigrate to work there. They took over jobs the Palestineans used to do, but the Thai people don't blow up buses.

If all else fails, you can go to Thailand and get a worker's permit to live and work in Israel. But remember, "no money, no honey".

I believe you must be a Jew or married to one. Check with the local Israeli consulate on that.
